Our Mission

The Medina Kennel Club was founded in 1967 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and welfare of purebred dogs. We are a recognized member club of the American Kennel Club. We welcome all dog enthusiasts (purebred or mixed breeds) to join our club. Medina Kennel Club is devoted to changing the world, one dog at a time.  All our classes are open to all dogs, whether purebred or mixed or whether you are a member or not.

Our Training Center is situated on a 22.52-acre farm in Lafayette Township. We opened up in January 2016.

At the Medina Kennel Club, our first priority is ensuring your pup stays with you in your loving home and doesn’t end up in a shelter. The best way for us to do this is to provide quality training to you and your pup so that you have a great life together.

Training your dog is not an option, it’s an obligation. Training your puppy is a way to prevent problems from happening. Training your adult dog will help change unwanted behaviors. Either way, a well-trained dog will become a well-mannered dog. Training your dog will also improve your relationship with your dog and make your life together more enjoyable.
